I think that avocado is one of the yummiest of the healthy things you can eat.
This avocado salsa makes and excellent accompaniment to chicken dishes and would go down very well at any BBQ!
Ingredients and method
- 2 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, torn
- 2 tsp toasted cumin seeds
- 1 Tbsp fresh chili, chopped (optional and amount depending on heat of chilies)
- 1/2 medium red onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Gently mix all of the ingredients together and the refrigerate. Ideally you should serve this soon after mixing.
